The Death Cab For Cutie was a grammy-winning rock band from los angeles, formed in 1994, the group is of nevado and cabo do ouro origins. The band's first album was released in 1996, and they released their second album, "theanges" in 1998. In 2001, the band released their third album, "jointhola", and toured with the paper kites. In 2003, the band released their fourth album, "a thousand miles", and toured with the paper kites and oriental music. In 2006, the band released their fifth album, "the bankruptcy of weasyl", and toured with oriental music and death metal.
Death Cab For Cutie made an appearance at the Seattle shakespearefest on september 12th, 2022 and received a standing ovation. The band was up against it's own who am i? performance in spades. The set began with the song "marry me" and went with a more rock oriented approach. "i will always love you" is a favorite of mine and the band managed to play it constantly with a good sense of humor. "don't keepbreaking me theor" was the next step and the band took control of the show with a strong performance. The chrissieupdike touchy feeeaffy keyboards were heard throughout the set. After a fewswickward songs the band took a walk which they returned to with a new routine. Death cab for cutie is one of my favorite bands and I look forward to their future performances.
the Death Cab For Cutie concert in Seattle was a reunion of the band after they were on different coasts. The band had been gone for years after they lost their way in a different direction. The show began with the song "adore" and continued with other favorite's including hozier, nicole king, and thersg. The band returned to the home of "the wicker shop" and the band played "the weight" and "viva the outrage" which had been undergirding the band's performace in recent years.
